Einstein
Albert Einstein was a theoretical physicist and is widely recognized as the most important scientist at the 20th century. He was born to Jewish family in 1879 in Germany and died in 1955 in Princeton. He was the author of the General Theory of Relativity and made important contributions to the special theory of relativity, quantum mechanics, statistical mechanics and cosmology. He was trained in Zurich Switzerland as a Physics and Mathematics teacher. At the age of 26, he came up with the equation: e=mc2. In 1921 he was awarded the noble prize of physics. After the first prime minister of Israel had passed away he was offered the presidency of Israel but he declined. He collaborated in establishing the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. In popular culture whenever his name comes up, it is automatically associated with great genius and intelligence.
