The highly anticipated Lanvin for H&M collection hits stores November 20, but we couldn’t wait until then to get our hands ...
on this amazing collaboration! So, we decided to visit the showroom where H&M spokesperson Pansy Tolou shows us several never before seen, head-to-toe Lanvin for H&M looks! When the clock hits 8:00am on November 20, you know exactly where to find us!
Lanvin H&M Collection Sneak Peek: Must Have Pieces
Allison McNamara: It’s not everyday that you can find designer runway pieces for under $300.00. But on November 20th, start lining up at H&M stores to get your hand on a piece from this Lanvin 2010 collaboration. I’m Allison and on today’s Fab Flash, I’m here with Pansy who’s going to show us several never before seen head to toe ensembles from this collection.
So tell me about the newest collaboration for H&M with Lanvin.
Pansy Tolou: The Lanvin for H&M collection is all about offering our customers just beautiful, playful art of tailoring. With ruffles and bold prints and patterns and it’s perfect for the holiday season.
For the first time in collaboration, we’re offering beauty as an accessory. Lanvin runways are known for their beautiful red lip, so we’re offering four shades of lipstick in this collaboration.
Allison McNamara: So it’s 8:00am at November 20th, what is the first thing we’re going to grab?
Pansy Tolou: I predict this yellow dress will fly off the shelves first. IT has this oversized ruffle detail that makes it so fluttering and still makes a statement and then you have this cinch waves which is also so fluttering. And then you have it with Lanvin for H&M shoes then accessorize it. You can pair it with this wristlet clutch.
Allison McNamara: Can you sneak peek some of the must-haves from this collection?
Pansy Tolou: This is definitely one of them. It’s this gorgeous, bold and colorful floral print dress with these puffy sleeves, cinch waves and the skirt that’s ultra fluttering on the body. The sleeves are actually adjustable. You can make them as daring and bold as you want by simply just adjusting it and pushing it up a little.
For another take on a floral dress, we have this beautiful tiered ruffle dress. It’s a little bit more flirty. A little bit more girly. It’s got a straight neckline, nude straps and it exposes the bra on the back. If you throw on a leather motorcycle jacket, you’re ready for a night out.
Allison McNamara: We know that Lanvin always goes for the wow factor. So what is his take on the little black dress?
Pansy Tolou: Ultra luxurious. They did a chiffon dress for us and it is all about girly, beautiful finishes in this chiffon ruffles and of course the sparkly rhinestones on top. And we’ve finished off this look with this beautiful Patent leather shoes with the rhinestone detail. This is the holiday dress of the season.
With this LVD, we have the signature Lanvin detail which is the Grosgrain ribbon. This dress is whimsical and it’s playful and if you want to step up the drama and be just like the Lanvin runways, add the leather gloves. And one of my favorite accessories in this collection is the leopard pumps. They’re great print to add to any of the looks in this collection.
Allison McNamara: These are all beautiful party pieces. But how can we get some Lanvin luxury for everyday?
Pansy Tolou: This offer is great if you want to make some of those separates from the collection. We have the signature Alber Elbaz illustrations on this t-shirt. If you wear this, everybody knows you’re wearing Lanvin. And then we paired it with this really adorable tiered lace skirt and you can just throw on this jacket to take your look from day to night.
Allison McNamara: We saw several fur pieces on Lanvin’s 12, 2010 runway. How did Alber Elbaz trend like that for this collection?
Pansy Tolou: There are actually a few foe fur pieces in the Lanvin for H&M collection. This foe fur is more of like a full meek. It’s double breasted. It’s got brass buttons and a couple of little jewel buttons just to make it a little bit more girly. Another huge trend we saw on a Lanvin runway is metallics and it’s also a huge trend for this season. This dress is a great option and we paired it with this great chain and pearl belt and finish it off with the great heels. This is a fun, flirty and youthful take on metallics. We love it.
Allison McNamara: So on November 19th, you know where to find me, camped outside the H&M store.
