Krusell Encore case for iPod Nano 4G - Tech Review
What's up guys? SnazzyiPhoneHacker here and as you guys see I have an iPod Nano 4th Generation case review for you today. If you guys have watched my unboxing on the Krusell MusicSkins unboxing earlier you would have heard me saying that I am soon getting an iPod Nano 4th Generation case. So which is why companies have sent me out some nice products for the iPod Nano 4th Generation but I'm not going to be getting my iPod Nano 4th Generation until later in July. Hopefully if whoever you know who you are, so hopefully get it in later July. So yeah, I did not want Krusell.se, you know the company Krusell. I have to wait that long for the review so I decided to use my sister’s iPod Nano 4th Generation 8 gigabyte in purple. This is a very nice color still for this case, okay. So once again I want to thank Krusell for sending it out to me. Check Krusell.se or email them @infokrusell.se.
All right, they're in Sweden. They make some great leather cases. You guys can see this genuine leather pouch. I had this beautiful I love that. I will have a review on that soon but this right here is the iPod Nano 4th Generation Edge Case, okay. I believed it is called the Edge Case Uncore. This is the Edge pouch side. Uncore case Edge pouch over there so let’s take this open real quick. Packaging is pretty nice and simple. It kind of highlights how you can dangle this case which I will get to in a sec but I do need scissors so hold on one second guys.
Well, I do need scissors but it’s on a metal piece so that should be good enough. You guys can see it has a strong metal clip as you just seen me rip it up. I'm feeling right here and I do feel a little plastic which means I think this has a screen protector built-in which is very nice. You guys can see it has no zipper on the side. We just slip it right in. It has a nice Krusell lettering on the side with the cool logo which I'm still not sure on what that is. It’s a really nice rope which you use as a necklace pretty much and then you got your really cool Fake iPod which I will be using until the end of July.
All right, guys I was right about the screen and you guys can tell it does have a little plastic rubber protector for the top. The inside feels great guys. It’s like a felt I don’t know if you could tell but it feels nice and smooth. It has a little bit of texture in it. Let me just clean this up. I can't really clean the screen. So I'm just going to hope that there is no lint on the inside. My iPod is pretty much cleaned already so the way you guys are going to want to put this in is really nice and easily slide it in through the bottom. So you guys can see there's an opening on the top trigger controls but there's a little holder there so that way it doesn’t slide all the way out. This does looks like it’s going to have a very tight fit, very tight fit. I'm not sure this going to be a fit. I’ll try this now. Wow! This is a pretty tight fit that they have going on here. I guess for it to really catch towards to the iPod they want it to be such a tight fit.
But I'm not going to lie it’s kind of hard to get in here. I have not yet tried any iPod Nano 4G cases besides a silicone one. So if you give me a second guys I’ll be right back to see how this case actually gets on the iPod, so far and not too good, but I will be right back guys.
All right, guys we’re going to go about like 20 seconds after I pause that last video. We got right it on really nice and easily. All you have to do really is that once you got like one Edge on kind of lift the other Edge. That’s a good sign that it was a little bit hard to get on at that side, good side because this case is going to be pretty contoured to the case, to the iPod itself, but that time because getting it on and off is going to be a little bit difficult. So as you guys can see it slides on. Once you get the top pieces all completely it’s pretty easy from there and out. I'm sliding all the way down to give the best fit and there you guys go.
Just massage it in there since it is pretty much considered a leather case in my opinion although I do not see it’s a genuine leather anywhere but that is pretty much a leather case. All right, so what you have here is a very nice thin case. It does contour to the iPod very nicely, although I do feel a little bit of like extra space on the screen of course and in the back a little bit for that extra protection. Now, it’s fully open, full access, so you don’t have to worry about fitting your iPod. We’re talking that into there to top full access for your fingers really nice and easily. You guys can see, all right, so close that back up.
Down here you guys can see a little imperfection there that’s easily snippable, pretty easy controls. You do have access to your buttons very nice and easily although you do feel that little lift up the leather around it, getting it on was a little tricky so this is not something that you can slip on and off like a silicone. Although when you do break this in which applied to another video when I do get my iPod with this case to show you how well it goes on and how easily it comes on and off. It should be a lot easier. You guys do notice that I had this rope here which looks very nice, so take that piece off and you guys can see just like in the Edge pouch which you might have seen in my unboxing there is a nice long rope.
This is great for any of you people who used to use a lanyard because you guys can see it does have a clip right here. That’s should pretty much hook up like that. This case comes in every single color for the iPod Nano red, blue, green, orange, yellow, purple, white and black. I believe it comes with silver also. So color if you want to match your iPod you're going doing that’s why I have the black to match my black iPod that I soon will be getting. This cord which seems like it has the same material, the same like leather material, leatherette material that is on this case. So that feels great. You know it’s a really strong connection. You guys can take this on and off just by making your own knot just like that. So if you do not want the string you could take it off which is still will have that little thing dangle and yet this case works perfectly. It feels great in the hand all. You guys can see you have full access to your scroll so you're good with that.
It looks great. There are no water marks with the screen and it does protect your screen which I love. I love to keep my screens in perfect condition. My sister will love to use this although she has here own Belkin silicone type of case. Well, it fits in the Edge pouch and I'm soon would be doing a review on most definitely. It fits in there very nice and easily. So you guys can see that it’s really nice. It slides out really nice. If you have this in your pocket guys you're not going to get any lint with this. So, no lint at all, it’s not sticky although it does have a good grip to it for your hand. It feels great in the hand but no tackiness for lint.
You guys can see it is dangling perfectly. The iPod is not going to fall out. I could swing it around to loop to loops but there you go. That’s tie them right through the neck because this is not my iPod. I'm sliding it out. I will show you right now. I push it from the top right where this is. Just stick your finger on that so that you're not scratching your iPod God. So you're not scratching your iPod but who cares if you scratch the case, right?
And then once you get it from there you just want to push that metal part back and slide it nicely out. Slide it nicely out. Take it, let's see if you can do this on the camera this time and kind of massage the next corner in. What I did I stick my finger in here, lift it and you're good to go once you get that hard in. So once you get that in, sliding it in easy but them you want to get that last push, so you have to massage it and pull to get it in there perfectly which it is now. So yeah, that’s pretty much it for this case. Thanks for watching guys. Check out www.Krusell.se. Thank you Krusell for sending this out to me. I will let you know how this case works out in the end and stay tuned for my review on the Edge pouch. Thanks for watching guys, peace out.
