Kristen Wiig will guest star on the upcoming new season of ‘Arrested Development.’ And in an absolutely genius move if it’s true...spoiler alert -- Vulture reports Wiig will play a young Lucille Bluth. The casting choice is being lauded across the media.. . Blackbook says Wiig is no stranger to playing the wealthy, boozy and bizarre -- see her Saturday Night Live characters -- so the role is perfect. But of course now the speculation begins -- why a young Lucille? What will the storyline be? Jezebel had some fun ideas... “ Maybe we'll get to see her bullying Lindsay Chops for the very first time? Perhaps Lizzy Caplan can play a young Lucille Austero? Oooh! Do you think we'll get into what sort of prescription/illegal drugs she was on when Buster was in the womb?” And CinemaBlend wonders if we’ll get to see other younger versions of the Bluths...Seth Rogen will also guest star -- no word on who he will play. In fact, the news of Wiig and Rogen’s roles are the latest in a series of casting reports. Conan O’Brien, ‘Mad Men’’s John Slattery and ‘Parks and Recreation’’s Ben Schwartz will appear, among others. The fourth  season premieres on Netflix in May -- and is set to be full of changes. For example , each episode will focus on one character -- only Jason Bateman’s Michael Bluth will be in all the eps. And there’s still the Arrested Development movie coming -- the new season of the show is reportedly intended as a set-up the movie’s plot -- the first act. We’ve still got a ways to go until May but in the final countdown -- we suggest using your time to pop on the perfect pair of jean shorts, grab a seat in a hand-shaped chair and, in Lucille Bluth’s honor, have a drink. ...Or twelve.
