Hi, I’m Toni Lipe with Toni's Design Studio. Today, I’m going to talk to you about combining knit and purl stitches. We’ll discuss ribbing, the moss stitch, the basket weave stitch, increasing and decreasing. You won't need much to get started. You’ll need size ten, ten inch bamboo needles, a worsted weight yarn, scissors, measuring tape and a tapestry needle. Make sure you keep all of your supplies in your tote bag or basket so you don't hurt yourself or the things do not get broken and before we start let me tell you a little bit about myself. I received my undergraduate degree and my MBA from George Mason University. I’ve been knitting for 25 years and I’ve enjoyed going to classes, teaching classes, buying yarn, attending conferences and I’m very excited to share my favorite craft with you. So, let's get started.
