Here are my insider tips for making quick changes to your kitchen and changes you could do
over the weekend that’s not going to cost you a lot of money, walk into your kitchen and have a
look at your cabinets. Most people think they need new cabinets, you generally don’t. What
you need instead is just cabinet fronts and a cabinet front will only cost you about a third of
what replacing the entire cabinet is for.

Next, look at your door pulls, your drawer pulls, very often you bought them back 15 years ago,
the guy who owned the place before you did and they date a kitchen immediately. Just go to
your local hardware store, look at a few design magazines and see what kind of drawer pulls in
style right now and mimic them at your local hardware store. It will give you a whole kitchen
face lift sort of right away, just by making that little change.

Don’t overlook the lights in your kitchens. If you’ve got those god awful fluorescent lights on
the ceiling, get rid of them. The light fixtures, they are so much cheaper than what they used to
be so replace the fluorescent fixtures. It’s a job you can do yourself, you’ve got all the wiring
there and don’t overlook putting very to attach actually strip on and glue on little tiny lights
under the kitchen counter so those are mood enhancers that make that kitchen feel sexy when
you’re cooking at night whether you’re feeling sexy or not.
