It's about figuring out what looks great together. You can have a stainless steel professional stove and you can mix it with black appliances. You can have a navy blue refrigerator and all stainless steel appliances.

It's really about the same way that you would match your outfit, that you would coordinate your shoes with your bag and with your belt. It's the same thing you do with your appliances. It's the same thing you do with your kitchen cabinets and also the hardware in the kitchen and even the countertops.

It's about looking at the materials as an overall collective and figuring out the balancing act of how you are going to work it out. I love to see black appliances with light cabinets or light wood cabinets or even dark cabinets. It's really about making a beautiful visual, it's not about right or wrong.
