Kevin Smith Removed from Flight
Not so silent Bob, director, producer, writer, actor Kevin Smith has taken to his twitter page a lot to vocalize his anger after a pilot on a Southwest Airlines Flight ejected in for being too fast. The filmmaker admitted he had—tweets but saw no justified reason to be removed. He then had some choice words for the airline saying he broke no regulation and was no safety risk. And the tweets just kept on coming. After a storm of angry comments from Smith, the airline issued an apology first from his twitter page and then on his website. They offered their heartfelt apologies and were sincerely sorry for his travel experience but they also took the opportunity to explain their customer-upsized policy which requires travelers to fit safely and comfortably in one seat or make other arrangements.
Smith insisted he fit into his seat just fine and continued his verbal assault through more expletive filled tweets. He even posted a picture of himself with his cheeks puffed out. Worrying folks that if you look like him, you maybe ejected. Smith was eventually accommodated on a later Southwest flight given a $100.00 voucher and another apology by phone, but not before the walls of the plane were opened and he was airlifted out while Richard Simmons supervised.
