FANS APPLAUD STORY: Kelia Moniz of Hawaii turned the tables on Chelsea Williams when she won the Pro China and women's longboard world championship for the first time on Sunday (November 25) after losing to the Australian in the final last year. Williams reached the final after defeating 16-year-old Californian Karina Rozunko in the first semi-final on Hainan Island with a score of 17.20 to 9.65. Earlier in the event, Rozunko had eliminated 2011 world champion Lindsay Steinriede of the USA. Moniz only just beat compatriot Summer Romero in the second semi-final 12.80 to 12.50. In the championship final, the Hawaiian scored 16.05 to 9.50 for Williams.
