Image Source - Examiner By: Josh Lander A tragedy in Kansas City after 25-year-old Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher reportedly shot himself and another in a murder-suicide Saturday morning. KCTV confirms.. . “Kansas city chiefs linebacker Jovan belcher shot and killed his girlfriend. He then shot himself in front of Chiefs’ coaching staff at the practice facility at Arrowhead.” The Chicago Tribune reports “Police spokesman Darin Snapp said authorities received a call Saturday morning from a woman who said her daughter had been shot multiple times at a residence about five miles away from the Arrowhead complex. Snapp said a call was then received from the Chiefs' practice facility.” The Wall Street Journal has the gruesome details of the incident... “Upon arriving, … police witnessed a black male in a car with a handgun to his head talking to two Chiefs officials. That's when police heard a gunshot. Arrowhead Stadium has been on lockdown since about 8 a.m. CST.” The Chiefs are scheduled to play the Carolina Panthers at Arrowhead Sunday afternoon.
