WCSC and WFTV have more. “Sad news for the music world. Authorities in Mexico say they have found the wreckage of a small plane believed to be carrying singing superstar Jenni Rivera.” “Nobody survived the crash. The crash is still under investigation. Rivera has five children and two grandchildren, and sold more than 20 million albums. Earlier this month, she signed a deal with ABC to get her own comedy series.” Authorities are still awaiting a positive identification of Rivera’s remains from her brother, Gustavo. Evidence has been discovered at the scene of the accident. WCAU explains . “Authorities lost contact with the plane early yesterday morning. Rivera's driver's license was found at the crash site.” Details about the accident are still unclear. CNN writes . “The cause of the crash was not immediately clear, and the [transportation] ministry has opened an investigation.” Seven people were killed in the crash and have yet to be positively identified.
