Jack Daniel's: The legend of Old 7
Male: You know what; own your Old number seven Black Label, which is the fad cheap brand. How do we get it we might take some barrels and this is a sample from the second for maybe slam from the fill for something that sits for and we will mingle all of this barrels together to get the consistent taste we are hunting for. So we mingle a bunch of barrels.
On your single barrel where it comes from is the great top of this seven stories builders for it comes off the breed top run and the reason why and you know we have to get it to the temperature of change more to where the whisky to work more in and out of the wood and you know what’s more matured it’s every taste in wood because it has worked more in and out of the wood.
So your single barrel comes from the very top of the buildings here now
Female: That leads me to add at least to two questions actually one is about it would have been unfairly that it takes longer for the one’s at the bottom here to mature than the once at the top. That’s why I’m here.
Male: It would take one word to it’s on the bottom but it says two you know you’re going to be mingle them.
Female: This is true.
Male: I want it all together so it might take some from the bottom to make it mingle out from the field to get that and this is the taste we are hunting for I don’t know.
Female: And tell me Old number seven, number seven is significant for anything.
Male: We don’t know number seven ready nobody knows what that means you know the old number seven this is a restrict trade marker for the whisky. Jack was the man that put this on the label of the bottle and in every tone of body, what it meant that so it tags you to the very brave you know only man know what it meant.
But you know we have heard seven girl friends, several of his recipe and we would heard any one seven barrels. But, who already knows that but, no won that out right the most is the loosen of the seven barrels so they took seven barrels to drag this whisky to tell the home and they put them on the railroad and shift them to Saint Louise here in the roast fire. But in the meantime, the railroad calls back up and for a few days that hey guess what we wasted seven barrels we can’t find them.
So they said you need chips seven more so they did but, in the mean time the railroad found the four seven and they marked on them Old number seven because the new ones was on the right so.
Female: That’s a great story.
Male: I know it’s a great story but you know who already knows that so it’s just kind of a rest of trade mark on them. I’ll tell we’re kind of getting here to the end of the tour here and what we’re going to do is take you up here and we’re going to the visual center and we got just some refreshments here, we got just some lemonade and some coffee here. You know it can tell you a bottle whisky up here and if you want to go down town and look around you’re actually the gift shops and stuff as that is and no caps, t-shirts and stuff like that down at the H-burg hardware store.
Female: That’s a great place the stuff.
Male: But I got caps, t shirts and t-shirts before you like that and shot vest. So I still get some refreshments. Now its not spike I have the thing about it.
Female: Is that the spray of lemonade.
Male: We sprayed up lemonade am now. Then we have some lemonade here and I hope you did enjoy the tour right now.
Female: I did that’s a great refreshing drink. Thank you very much for your time today. I’ve really enjoyed my tour here Jack Daniels and I’ve learned a lot. It’s been very enjoyable.
Male: Now we’ve heard from a heavy out here. You know I could be better from the spot, you know I’m here.
Female: I don’t know is that arising is that is that an option?
Male: Nobody takes not so there’s not spike though what it is refreshing.
