This is the Super Monkey Ball game. This is available in the App Store for $49.99. And, this have audio of course. Headphones in because this is an iPod Touch. You are going to touch the screen to start. We have a whole bunch of options. We have the main game, we have instant play, we have a practice mode, we have ranking mode and then our options. So you just double tap and you will get into one so we can change our sound effects. I can check the ranking from Monkey Island the different levels which of course are locked right now. The more you play, the more you unlock.
We go to our practice mode and main game and just go to instant play. This is if you keep falling off or if you run out of time or run out of monkeys, the game is over.
So, you have to hold it down like this. Level it with the ground. You cannot hold it like that. It is actually very parallel with the ground. And when you hold it back, you can get slower. Turn it to the left and turn it to the right. I have actually gone fast there. I wish this game had an accelerometer, sensitivity meter, much like the Crash Bandicoot game but it does not always talk about—I did not find it yet. It just seems that it is going kind of jerking on the response to the accelerometer. But for a version one of the game, I cannot complain too much. I have seen a good amount of updates in the App Store here recently. So, I cannot imagine why a game like this would not receive a good update like that.
This is much like the levels that you would see in the regular play mode even though I am in instant play but I am not ranking and I am not getting any score from it. The bottom left is to see how fast we are going. The top left is our score and the top right is how many monkeys we have left.
I played this for about an hour the other day and when I was really starting to get into it and I quit jerking it back and forth and just saw. It just takes a while to get. Get back into the habit of it. That is all in launch game. It is better enough on iTouch especially if you are a fan of the Monkey Ball franchise. I am sure that a lot of you are.
So, it remain game. We get to pick who we want to play as and we have 5 total levels. Once you can play one, you unlock the next one. We have our easy difficulty and hard difficulty. Also, you can pause the game by touching the clock. And here we go back to the main menu and we are going to resume the game. I can already tell, as compared to the character that I was playing before, this game can be a lot slower if he was a bigger guy. So, I guess that that is kind of like changing your accelerometer sensitivity.
And this is Super Monkey Ball, available in the App Store, $49.99.
