Hey guys, Jon here. Hope you’re all doing well wherever you are at. I’ve got a much anticipated and much hype unboxing for you guys today. One I’m very proud off and one that got me up at 5:00, 4:30 in the morning and one that took it’s nine hours actually get, have some troubles but I’m proud to bring to you an unboxing of the 3G iPhone, the iPhone 3G or actually a re-unboxing since Apple has opened it up before they give it to you. First thing I want to show you guys is the bag that came in because nobody cares, white bag, iPhone.
I got the black 16 gigabyte. I wasn’t thinking about the white. The white one looked really sleek but in the end I want black and 16 gigs iPhone 3G. So let me show you guys the box here and we’ll get to the unboxing, picture of the phone on the front, iPhone 3G inside, all that business on the back, iPhone 3G.
So let’s go ahead and get to the unboxing. Hopefully this will work out so we got the box I get to show you. It opens up very similar to the old one. This is green protector on this your hands a little air bubbles that will not come without yet. It’s just about an hour old. We got the iPhone itself, put that aside and walk you guys through that in just a minute.
This I haven’t really opened up yet so we’ll see what’s in here. We got a tiny little wall plug, wow it’s nothing to it and the USB will try it in there. I mean that is small very sleek-looking so we put that there. We got the USB cable for the phone and we’ve got a set of headphones. So that’s what in the box and it looks like also underneath here is a little bit of business so let’s see what you got going on in here. This is the infamous SIM removal tool right here and that little metal thing you can pull it out. It’s like a paper clip, you just stick it in the top of the iPhone. You guys can see right there is a little hole. You just pop it in and your SIM card comes out, so SIM removal tool really exciting.
Finger tips that’s a clover plan of words I guess, iPhone 3G’s information and the obligatory Apple stickers. I know the finger tips are, make a call, go home, it kind of show you how to work the phone and in fact they give you a little cleaning cloth as well, that’s new and handy and it emblazoned with the iPhone logo right there, it’s very thin I don’t know if you guys can even see it.
Let me show you guys a little bit about the phone, I’ll do a full hardware review of it later but I want to make you guys get a chance to see this and you will be able to see this video on my YouTube channel so as my website at www.jon4lakers.com but here’s a friend of the phone, sorry to air balls I’ve been pushing out yet, the screen protector. For in the phone, the side of the phone you’ve got the volume up and the volume down and move this here. Above the volume up and the volume down you’ve got a ringer toggle which will change it from vibrate to ring which is the full switch, very handy. On the top you now have a flushed 3.5 millimeter headset jack which is very nice and you’ve got the hold and power button at the top.
The left side of the phone doesn’t have anything, the back here is your charging port and syncing port. You got a speaker grill and you got a microphone and I will say there is the speaker for your earpiece. The back I got the black which does appear to be finger print magnet and you clean it up before I show so that it will no be embarrass with that handy included clock, there we go.
Shiny and black, you can see there even or see reflection, iPhone 16 gigabyte. It’s going to be nice and obviously there is a 2-megapixel camera, same one that was on the first generation iPhone. Let me show you guys just a very quick comparison between the iPhone 3G and the Edge version of the iPhone the OG iPhone, the original so let me go ahead and pull this down and show you guys just real quickly. Let’s hop it’s kind of deal a difference. This one here is the 3G phone. They look very similar. Again this has been the 3G, very similar footprints as you can tell.
Side views both look you know pretty identical and the box really, really where you can see the most difference. The iPhone 3G it feels a little more solid in your hand and feels little nice little whole because of the tapered edges and it pulls back up here. So how do you do guys and if I’ll show you the headphone jacks on top and you can see the difference you kind of recessed and the non-recessed. Notice right there yet it actually pushed the headphone into that little slot, so most headphones don’t extend that far to plug in, the iPhone 3G fixed and it was a really big flop with the original iPhone.
So, that’s it guys. I just want to give you a real quick unboxing of the iPhone 3G.
