Hi, I'm Jay Goldman. You are watching Mr. Mobile on Butterscotch.com. Today we’re going to take a look at some iPhone cases. Now, there are a lots of iPhone cases on the market and you can certainly find tons of them just by going to your local Best Buy or other retailer or in fact just looking online where you will find lots of them. We’re going to take a look today at two cases from a company called iFrogz. The one that I've got on my phone right now is called the Luxe Original and they got this really great finish on them. It’s sort of almost of a velvety plastic feel, really nice hand feel to it and that’s actually kind of what sets this case apart. So very vibrant colors on the top part and this sort of very nice feel to it and then also it comes apart really easily for access to the phone.
So you just press that button in on the back, slide the bottom off and then you can slide the top off. Inside you’ll see it’s got this velvety feel on the inside actually sort of velvet piece there which protects the back of your phone from getting scratch as you're sliding the phone in and out of the case. Really simple to put it on, just slide the top part on, slide the bottom part on until it clicks and then you're all done. The bottom just got a hole in it that allows you access to your charging port, microphone and speaker. This side gives you access to the volume and lock switch. And then on the top you’ve obviously got access to the headphone and power button and on the back there's a hole for the camera.
So you probably don’t ever need to take the phone out. Some dock accessories that you put the phone into maybe a tighter fit on the bottom and so you may need to just pop the bottom piece off in order to pop it into the dock in which case you can leave the top on and just stick it in. You find this case at iFrogz.com for $29.99. You probably also find it from some other online retailers as well and when you buy it, it comes with the screen protector in the pack so it’s just a little plastic thing that you can stick directly onto the screen and that protects you from getting scratches so you’ve now got coverage all the way around your phone from all kinds of dings and that sort of stuff.
You can also get a variety of different colors. I kind of like this really intense blue but there’s probably about nine different colors that you can buy it in. The bottom part will always be black and the top part changes. Again you can get that at iFrogz.com and as always you’ll find the URL in the show notes at Butterscotch.com. Now, if you're the kind of person who really likes cases like this but would like a little bit more customizability than just the nine colors that you can pick on the top on the iFrogz that’s original and then you are costumer from iFrogz.
You can find the iFrogz at AT&T stores. You just go into AT & T store and you can purchase it directly there and you’ll get a personal customization code that comes in the pack and then you go to the iFrogz website and that’s www.ifrogz.com or in fact n.ifrogz.com if you want to do it from your phone while you're standing in the AT & T Store. Click on the design of your case, you pick your colors for the top and the bottom and then you enter your shipping information and the customization code and off you go. About a week later it will arrive magically on your doorstep customized just for you and it comes in kind of a neat case that’s got your name directly on the top.
Well, hopefully that your name and not my name and shows you whole bunch of the different colors that you can do. So that’s a pretty good sense of all the different colors that are available with it. And again you can customize the top and bottom colors. So you’ve got a pretty good range of customizability. There in fact I would say almost too many colors on there. It took quite a while to go through them all and sort of get a sense of the different cases.
The MyFrogz case is $34.99 so you're looking at a premium of $5.00 in order to be able to customize your case. It’s a pretty decent cost in order to be able to pick the bottom color as well as the top. And again it will take about a week to arrive at your house. I'm Jay Goldman. This has been Mr. Mobile. Thanks as always for watching and catch more episodes of Butterscotch.com and we’ll see you next time.
