How to Whiten Teeth and Eyes in Photoshop CS3
In this tutorial, I’ll be showing you how to whiten a teeth and eyes. This is a very quick process that only takes a few minutes and you get really good results with it.
So first of all you want to open up a picture of a person that has some teeth or some eyes that need to be a little touch up a little whiter. I’ll go ahead and zoom up so you can see the teeth and the eyes. We’ll go ahead and do both used them at the same time here and you want to click on the color Dodge Tool and then you want to choose a brush that’s smaller than your teeth and you want to choose a soft brush. I’m going to go ahead and do 17 soft rounds for this. And then for the range, you want to select the midtones and for the exposure, go ahead and take this down to 30%.
Now you want to go over the teeth, a little is more, less is more when you’re doing this. So just take it one stroke at a time and see how it turns out and its going to give you a slighter whiteness. If you want a more dramatic whiteness then you can change that exposure to 40% or even 50% and that will give you more dramatic. You want to be sure not to go overboard here though because the picture will look fake if you go too overboard.
So just a few strokes, take it them a little bit whiter. The same thing with the eyes, this is going to make those eyes standout a lot more. Let’s just do few strokes and then we’ll go ahead and we’ll zoom out and you can see what a great difference that makes by using the Dodge Tool to quickly whiten the teeth and the eyes.
