How to Use the Roomba iRobot 560
What’s up guys and girls? Jon Rettinger here and I want to give you a demonstration of the iRobot Roomba in action and this is all being recorded with the iPhone 3GS and it will be directly uploaded to YouTube from the iPhone.
Let’s go ahead and get so I don’t take a look at the iRobot right here. This is the dock that automatically it comes back to when it’s done vacuuming and let’s put charge—I can see there’s a pretty decent size power brick right there.
So, I’m going to go ahead and push start and you’ll see the Roomba go and do the vacuuming thing, get a nicer tone and it lets you know that it’s going to start vacuuming. Now, my TV stand is right here, so if it goes and hits it, it automatically adjust itself. So, it hit it. It will spin around and it will go ahead and it just keep vacuuming and I should it actually does a very, very good job.
So, once it comes out from under my coffee table I will give you guys an example of what a good job it does here. So, here is just a piece of tooth here that I happened to have in a carpet. Let me go and put it in front of Roomba actually right now you can see the light it was blowing just because it found a dirty area. It’s excited to go and clean and it really does a fantastic job. You go through you clean it after it’s done vacuuming it. You’re surprise what comes off your carpet, so let me show you a kind of round around here.
It got a little weight bench in those underneath it and it really does go through and do it, it seem quite nicely and it takes about 25 minutes per room they estimate, and when it done vacuuming it will come right back to its charger and charge for the day, so you can see it. Kind of rolling it along and it get stuck in some places but it always find its way out which is very handy.
So, there you go guys I hope you enjoy the quick demonstration of the iRobot Roomba in action. It really is very cool when I have a robot vacuuming the floor here and surprisingly it does a very good job as good as the job of the old vacuum that I used to have. You can see it kind of get all those corners there. It’s got brushes that come protrude out to make sure that it gets all those spots.
Let’s watch it just for one more second and I will say it feels you remember me saying in the unboxing video she is not too happy about the Roomba, okay so for exclusive content be sure to follow me on Twitter, Twitter.com/Jon4lakers, and I will see you guys in the next video, bye.
