This one is going to be on passwords. You know when you have to go to a website or a forum or whatever, then you need to sign up, right? And you have you to think of a password, then you have to remember the password and then you have to know if the password is, you know safe enough. So you know people can’t guess it with brute force attack, dictionary you know attack.
So with this Java script, you don’t actually need to remember all the passwords. Just, you have to remember one password, and that’s your master password, alright. And everything else is—will be encrypted based on the site that your at. So I’m going to show you what it is, let’s say this is the website you go to, supergenpass.com and basically what this does it creates a Java script for you see how these three options, you can change it but for this, I’m just going to do the default and just build bookmark. And then what you’re going to do is, you know save this to the bookmark. I’m just going to drag this up to my—so you now I have it here right?
If you click on it, it’ll say something like this on the side and all you’ve got to do is enter your master password, you know like they say, for this instance we go to make a Google email account, a Gmail account. So it’s going to use Google.com and your master password. So for this instance, just click on supergenpass, the Java script that we built. And then you see over here on the side, see on the side here, it asks your for a master password. On this case I’m just going to call it master, master sh** and it generates it.
So this is your encrypted password, so you don’t have to actually remember this password, all you’ve got to do is remember your master password. This is your master password right? Master sh**, and this encrypted password is based on your master password here and the website your at which is Google.com. And in the password length is 10, that’s default.
So that’s how they come up with this, they fuse the master password with the domain so you don’t actually have to remember your password, your encrypted password. No one’s going to remember this, come on look at this, can you remember that? The whole?
So see with this script, you can like—you know, access from anywhere, like this or your out of town or something and you don’t—you know remember what your password is but you remember this site, all you do is go there and then that’s it, the super gen password site. Or if you’re on a iPhone or something, they have a mobile version right here, and basically what you do is the same thing. You type in your master password in the site your at and then the characters, how long the length of the password is and it will show you the generated password. It’s the same thing.
So we know that the password is like encrypted but how strong is it right? So I’m going to check it to see how strong is the password. So this is a Microsoft something like this and it says password checker. So I’m just going to use it, I copied the password already so I’m going to paste it in and see how strong it is. See and it says it’s strong, so that’s one site and I’m going to check it with Password Meter. And I’m going to check and see if it’s strong also, paste it in and we get a 84%, so that’s very strong. And one more check just to be sure, Password Security okay. Press it in and then submit and let’s see what it says. So okay it gives a green bar and it says strong password. Okay so three out of three, so it’s good.
So that’s all you’ve got to do, just remember your master password and go to a domain, even you go YouTube or whatever. And that’s it, you need a Java script, or you need the mobile version and that’s why it is—Java scrip is convenient and it doesn’t transmit any information because it is locally. You don’t actually connect to super gen pass as a Java script. So it’s on your hard drive or whatever and all you have to do is click on this one whenever you need to make your password or on the site that you are using, and that’s it. It’s convenient and it is much harder to hack to password because you know, most of us are lazy. We don’t want to use encrypted password, we use the same and you know everyone does it, its stupid but it’s convenient. But now you don’t have to be stupid anymore, just use this thing and it’s convenient and it’s encrypted. So check it out if you need something like this.
