Hi. This is Mike Callahan, Dr. File Finder and welcome to your Butterscotch.com tutorial on using PortableApps on your USB Drive.

Now, USB drive is also sometimes called a USB stick, USB key, Memory Key but it’s a device you can put in your pocket or your purse carry it with you. And when you do, you can out PortableApps from PortableApps.com on your USB drive.

The nice thing about Portable Applications is that they don’t leave a footprint on the computer that you plug them into. So you can plug it in to any PC. You got your browser, your email, and all the applications that you want. Now here is our listing of individual applications for accessibility, development, education, games, graphics, internet, music, office and utilities.

Now at the same time if you want, there’s a suite that contains all the key things. You can download it. It’s powered by a menu. It contains Firefox, Thunderbird, Sunbird, an anti-virus program, Pigeons so you can talk it all your instant messaging networks, a couple of games, a password manager and Open Office so that you have Word processing spreadsheets, presentation, and database and more.

So this is PortableApps. It’s a great way to get things done on any PC just by carrying a little device in your pocket. And that’s all there is to it.
