One of my favorite features in Firefox 3 is how to use the full-page zoom.
So I’m going to go up to view and then to zoom and you can see how to zoom in and zoom out and the key board short cut is an important notice because if you keep having to visit your menu every time you want to zoom in or zoom out it’s going to be pretty time consuming.
So for zoom in we have control and plus and zoom out control and minus, okay. Think I can remember that, I’m going to go ahead and zoom in once and then I’m going to keep zooming in, control and my plus key and it’s going to zoom in until everything is very large I can scroll down and scroll over. This is great for some one you has trouble readings some of the text or perhaps you want to get a closer look at the photo. I’m going to zoom out now, control and then minus and that zooms out for me. Makes every thing smaller until I have a total page view, I really like zooming out so I can see the whole page because for me this is a quick way to see an over side of the website and kind of figure out exactly what I want to look at closer.
Another option that we can do is go back to view and then zoom and then reset which is also controlling zero and it will take it back to normal. So you don’t have to worry about figuring it out exactly how much you need to zoom in or zoom out to get it back to normal.
Another thing that we can do, go to view and then zoom and then zoom text only and this is going to use the same key board short cuts. And it’s not going to do anything with your images, it’s going to zoom up on your text or zoom out only on your text and leave your images as they are. Got to go back and reset this again and you actually have to go back and turn off the zoom text only or next time it will just do the zoom and then do reset and I’m back to normal.
So that’s how you can use full page zoom and Firefox three.
