What's good YouTube? Is Deivid from Creative Ice Media Group and I'm going to do a quick introduction and tutorial in how to make a news actions. Basically, what an action is, is a recorded version of your commands. It’s really hard to describe, so what I'm going to do is basically show you what an action is. And this is a really long action, so it’s going to last for like a minute. Not all actions are this long, but because this is reading that one. It’s going to last long. So I'm just going to talk while it’s doing it. Why would you want to use an action? Imagine you're a photographer and you have just done a photo shoot around 300 images. And all those images are in the same lighting conditions for example. And you need to edit every single one. That’s a shit load of editing. And what you can do, you can record your editing, one of them. And play it back in every single one. And that will save you a lot of time. I've once edited a woman’s photo shoot that had consisted of like 200 images or something like that. And she wanted every single one edited. And of course, money is money. So I decided, yeah, sure I’ll do it. Normally it would have taken me around half a day. And on average it took me around a minute and a half editing. But then I remembered actions and what I've done is basically record one of them and play it backwards into some image. And it doesn’t make it instantly all happened all 200 at once. But it does save you a lot of time. And that thing would have taken me like 6 hours to do for that woman, but it took me an hour and a half. So it’s really good. And as you can see, the action just finished. And it came out quite nice actually. It has that vintage photo effect action. And if I must say so myself, it actually looks pretty good. Most actions don’t come out that accurate. You normally to like change opacity or something. Because they were made to a specific image. But most action do come out pretty good. If anyone is wondering, this is my pet dog Benson. He’s a 7 year old Rottweiler, I think. Yeah, you might have heard him barking in one or two previous tutorials. He’s the famous dog. Yeah, so that’s what actions are. I want to show you how to make an action now. And I'm going to show you for the purpose of saving as much time as possible. I'm going to make action on how to make an image black and white. Because that’s the simplest I can think of. So what were going to want to do, when in the actions dialogue. If you don’t have that box, go Windows and make sure actions is ticked. Once were in the dialogue, click on this little thing, that’s your trashcan. And click on create new action, were going to call this YouTube action for my viewers and aliens. Okay. Set, were going to make color blue. You don’t have to do this, I just want to be extra. I'm going to put this in default actions and press record. Alright. You don’t have to make it in default actions, by the way. So now, don’t click. Every single click you’ll going to do now is going to be recorded. So if I click something, like if I click on gradient, it will click on that when I play back. So don’t fuck up. If you fuck up, you're fucked. Alright. So what do you want to do? Let's go to image, adjustments, black and white, I'm just going to press OK. And press stop recording. Now what I'm going to do, just to prove that it does work. I’ll click on my black and white YouTube actions for my, whatever it’s called, I don’t remember. Press play. As you can see it automatically turn my image into black and white. You can make this actions do anything you like. You can make it like turn it into porn post or something. I don’t know. But yeah, it’s all good. That’s how you make actions. And that was an introduction, an in depth introduction in what actions are. Not everyone knows well actions and I learned actions quite later on actually. So thanks for watching. Please comment, rate, and subscribe. Post your video response of your amazing actions that you’ve made or something like that. Favorite, share this video. Follow me on Twitter. Add me on Facebook. Add the page CIMG.co.uk.
