Hello, this is Miro2194 making a video on the introduction to the Adobe Bridge.
Okay, so begin let us get a quick look on what can Bridge do? So let us get a quick look to that. Okay, so what Bridge can do is it can organize, Bridge can edit, Bridge can read, Bridge can sort, it can also filter. We can access some pictures; we can just select the pictures with the Metadata, that’s a great tool. We can also preview our images in bridge only using the preview and we can also zoom in the preview without entering to them, we can get a closer look to any image.
We can also process our image, for example with the camera run that kind of stuff, we can also develop images as you see over here. We can develop our images with the tools. Bridge gives it to us and finally we can use the Tools so Bridge gives this to us.
Now let us get a quick look to the buttons, which has. Okay so now we can take a closer look to the buttons, so that see. First of all, we have the back and the forward buttons over here; it’s just like a web browser. We can also have here the upward level to go to the upper folder. We also have the Create a new Folder which is ctrl/shift N, which is the hot key for that. We also have the rotate, and we also have the Delete Items, we also have the Switch to Compact Mode, which makes the Bridge smaller too for you because you are using another program or any thing like that.
Here we have the Preview, yes you can see it here. We can preview all our images, we also have the Metadata right over here, there is the cut, and yeah there you go. Maybe here we have our metadata. Well, here we have our view modes; we can change the different modes. Here is one of the previews horizontal here; it is a metadata photo is used as a default which is what I liked the most, okay?
After that we also have the layout options, which is just what I told you and here is the thumbnail size, we can make very big thumbnails or small thumbnails or normal thumbnails, okay? We also have the show and hide panels. As you can see over here I hide some panels, let us get back to our remote. And we have the favorite center folder there’s right there just at the right of the bridge one.
Now that you know like the buttons what Bridge can do, let us go to the preferences to arrange them to what we want. So hit ctrl key to open Preferences and again we can change the appearance, we can change this too into black or to white. It all depends on what you want. I like to leave my things neutral, but I can do this. Anyways, let us leave it as it is. Another thing that I am going to show you is that in the Accent Color you can, select Crystal, Obsidian and that will change the way you select an item, here. Here you can see that, let us leave that in the system, here in the Behavior we can change that, we can check or uncheck that. That would be, for example in the default things if you double click an image it will open in photo shop, and here if you check these if you double click it will edit the camera rolling photo shop. It will lead t in camera instead of going to folder.
In the favorite items, we can select for example what we want. For example item use Adobe Stock Photos, we can delete that, I do not use Version Cue, I don not use Adobe Photographers Directory, I don’t use Start Meeting. I only use that kind of things, I think so and I will leave that. Now we can go to Thumbnails and select one we want, for example if you have JPEG with deep image and into default it will prefer Camera Raw out off with those files where you can check or uncheck that.
After that, that is the alternate of when creating Thumbnail scenery, it will generate quick Thumbnails, high quality Thumbnails or convert to high quality when previewed. I prefer quick Thumbnails because of my virtual processor and that kind of stuff. Now here I do not process file larger than done 400. In my image, you can select on what you want, you are the one that know which is the size of your files.
Now I want to show you, here is something for example here if I check show Date Created, it will show to the date I created that. Here in the measures it will show that keywords, it will show that also here in size it will show how much it waits okay? Now let us go the Metadata. I will rather leave the defaults and the same in here File Type Associations.
Now let us go Labels right up of the File Type Associations and down of the Keywords and well first of all uncheck this Required the Control Key to Play Labels and Ratings. What is the label? The label is let us say it could sort your images depending on what you want. For example here the red label, I can change it to the best images I have on, here I can change it to be improved, maybe and the green are already done, the blue ones can be review or to do anything and I’ll show you how that works, so just click okay and for example here, I will just hit six and over here is six and over here is eight for example. You will see here that, here I have my labels and here I can just select where the labels I want or no labels or, for the greens ones here. And to remove the label just hit the same number as the label.
So that is all for now and hope you now use the Bridge because it is a great tool and see you by next week. Do not forget out the site Miro2194.com.nr. Bye.
