Hey! I’m Eric Stromer from Over your Head. Now, the jackhammer is a tool that no one should be intimidated by. It’s about 80 bucks rental at any local hardware store. Very easy to breakup a patio or anything with concrete slabs. This is the tool that get right through it. First and foremost, safety gloves, safety glasses, and ear protection. This thing gets really loud overtime and it’s the duration of the sound that ultimately gets to your ear. So, make sure you wear the ear protection as well. You go straight down on the area which you want a jackhammer out and you move from side to side until you got a crack in the slab. It’s very simple all the jackhammer operates. You simply depress a trigger that’s either on your left to your right hand depending on how you want to orient it in your own particular situation. There’s a bit on the end of it that actually goes right into the stone or the cement slab that you’re trying to dig out. And you just kind of spread your legs like about shoulder-width apart. Make sure you don’t use your back but your legs. You let the tool do the work. You don’t have to apply much pressure at all. Check it out. Don’t be intimidated by the jackhammer. I’m Eric Stromer.
