All right guys, I’m going to show you a video of me uploading in high definition video to youtube, so first thing to make your video. I happen to use cam studio to make mine, that will open up windows moviemaker and I want to import the media in here to make my video. This one is gone, I uploaded it already, it’s done. It will be in—a few years in camp studio, it will be on your program files, cam studio, go to find it, import and it will be there pretty quickly.
Give it a second, all right, here it is, I have no transfuse of different things or anything so I’m just going to drag it to right there. There it is, no intro that’s just it, it will show you a preview. What I want to do now is publish the video, so you can go file publish movie, control P or just publish movie here. Publish it to my computer, I will call it my airborne snap tutorial; click it so it’s working in high definition. I selected more settings instead of the best quality, which is by default, and I set windows media player HD 720 pm. Very good quality and its perfect for youtube HD. Other resolutions include this right here, so I want to publish that and I’ll just pause the video and bring it back when the movie has stopped polishing, just a few minutes but its worth the wait, so here we go.
All right, we’re almost done, it says we have about 50 second remaining but I’ll just pause it again and come back right when we finish, so give it a second. It has finished publishing the movie and as it says you can see remove as published. Now what this does is it puts the file on in you’re my computers or my videos on your computer and it saves it in a resolution which is perfect for watching them on youtube. So I have already put on a movie when I clicked finished because I know what I’m doing here. Finish and you can exit this without saving it because we just saved it and I’ll show you exactly where it is. It’s in Marcus, which is me the user and in my videos there is my tutorial.
When you are done with this, open the internet browser, I’ll use safari this time, open up obviously—you probably know this final few steps if you are using an account forum. Choose a video file, you’re uploading a video file and choose a file. You will find them in program files, scroll to cam studio and select and open your tutorial. Press the button that says upload video and it will start uploading your PDI, which is exactly what you want, so type in my title and it is as you can see uploading. I will bring this right back when it is completed. Well it usually take a few minutes, its not going to be instant, its going to take a few minutes depending on the size, length of your video, so we’ll come back when it is done.
Also I just want to show you on you’re done—actually typing in all your information for the title description etc about the video. Click the save change button, it will continue to work on the uploading as you do that, so I’ll be back in a minute. Success, this is what it looks like when you’re tutorial or your video in HD AVI format is successfully saved and uploaded. Okay, I’m going to go to my videos right now, just to see it is there and it will say at first for the first few minutes it will say uploaded and processing please wait. When it’s done, it will say live like all the rest of my videos say live. By the way subscribe so you can get—I’m making videos like crazy right now. This is in AVI format, don’t expect when it plays, its not going to first have—when you first get the videos its not going to first have this watch in HD link. It’s just going to be in terrible quality for a little while but after a while you get to watch in HD link and you can watch it in full youtube quality by 720 high definition format.
So it’s really a good feature and I’m going to use it to make the rest of my tutorials. This is pretty much all that I can show you, if you follow those steps you should have a number of options. I’ll go over them again for cam studio when you’re actually recording this videos, you should have the DVX codec, the DVX 6.8.5 codec. You’re going to want it have it on a 100% quality and again check auto adjust and drag it to as close as you can to 30 frames per second and get it to the 720 HD profile which makes perfect sense. And I use my region as right I’m using 1280x720, of course I have mentioned before you can always use one of the filling resolution. I showed it to you earlier on the videos, you know pause it, take it down, that’s what it is, so yes, enjoy your high definition videos, thank you, subscribe, peace.
