It's another DIY Network, BATHtastic! quick tip. If you have one of these giant plate-glass mirrors in your bathroom, I've got a quick and easy fix to give it some style.
First step, is to get it off the wall. If it's glue to wall, either tape it or put carpet wrap on it just in case it shatters. Pry it out very carefully and when you're done, you can cut it down the sides. You can easily do this yourself, just to make sure your glass cutting tool has a carbide blade or take it to your local glass company and have them do the work. Then, you just need to add a frame.
With basic carpentry skills, you can build a custom frame out of wood. If carpentry is not your thing, add a border tile around the mirror, or you can order easy to install frame kit. Any way you look at it, updating your mirror is a snap.
