Welcome to a fishing knot instruction video from Videofishingknots.com. In this video I will show you how to tie a Surgeon's knot. It is a simple knot for joining two lines. You start out by a aligning the two lines like this and then you just take the two lines and double stand and you tie a simple overhand knot and you need one line that has both tag ends available. So you can pull the whole line through the knot like that and now you have a simple overhand knot and now you basically just repeat the step. So you take your double stand and you put it through the loop up through the overhand knot ones more like that and that will and so that's you will end up with something like this and now you grab the double stands the two tag ends on the two parts, and you just pull everything tight like that.
All we need to do now is to trim your tag ends and you are done. If you want to learn how to tie more fishing knots you are welcome to stop by our website. We have instructions for tying more than 70 different fishing knots. You will find us at videofishingknots.com.
