Host: What's the best way to think about food?
Sarah Alligood: When a lot of people think about food, they think about what not to eat. When it's really were important to think about what should you eat. On the same note, a lot of people recommend foods based on what's not in that food, what's been left out, but thinking about what's actually in your food can actually be a better approach because there is all kinds of great things in your foods that have health benefits. A great example is nuts. Some people will tell you not to eat nuts because maybe they're high in calories. But nuts are a great source of protein, unsaturated fats, all kinds of vitamins and minerals and there great feature included in the diet.
So, just like you can multitask in soaking your foods, your foods do all kinds of things for body, they don't just fill you out and taste great.
