I’ll start with the stripping knife and as I said earlier, I’m going to start half to the dogs. Just take time and what I am doing now is I’m picking the hair up and between my thumb and the stripping knife.
And I’m just slightly pulling it towards me. Never strip the opposite way or pull the coat the opposite way the grease. If you start pulling it the opposite way, begin to that the dog will be uncomfortable and it's going to hurt the dog. And the dog’s going to get settle.
Just keep pulling the coat down, you can use finger and thumb. It all depends on the quality of the coat. We got a very good half coat which can easily be pulled. With your finger and thumb then by all means you can do that and usually stripping knife as I finish her.
Hold the dog underneath the head so you got control of the neck and give a thought to the dog real assuring. That’s it’s going dreadfully than to happen to him, they all feel a lot better, as I say always pull the coat towards you. Again finger and thumb, hold the stripping knife in the hands, put your thumb there and get the coat in between you and the thumb and to slightly pull. Same for the action as you ever cook the chicken is the same sort of thing.
