Lost luggage is an instant vacation killer, trust me I know but there's no reason to bag your whole holiday. Come on. If you find yourself empty-handed on a vacation, you can pick up just a few easy pieces and still look fabulous until your suitcase arrives.

The first thing you'll need is a tank top. Tanks are very inexpensive and can be worn alone, layered, under a button down shirt, and it pairs with just about anything that you already have on. And if you wash your tank at night, it should be dry in the morning, just in case your suitcase is .... Tank tops are a fashion emergency, you must have.

Next are pageant skirt. It's another great item that always in casual fashion. Choose a solid, dark color so you can wear it several times if necessary. And it can be dressed up or down depending on your top so you can easily take it from day and night or back to day if you're still waiting for that bag.

Now don't forget footwear. The best, cheap but surprising stylish footwear is flip-flops. They're always trendy on vacation, they come in every conceivable color. So you should have no problem finding something that perfectly matches your new outfit, even though I prefer black. Flip-flops are perfect for both day and evening outfits.

Now cosmetics can be really pricey to replace, so stick to the essentials. Ladies you don't need much, you are on vacation. Choose a rosy cream blush and use it on your cheeks and lips, a cream blush is my favorite. Blush brush for cheeks, fingertips for the lips. Add some black mascara so you have a completely polished summer look. Pair your teal tank with your brown pageant skirt. You need some fancy flip-flops and you'll be shaking up to paint the town red or teal.
