Female Speaker: If I'm not physically active, how do I start?
Sarah Alligood: You might be surprised to find out that to start to get active, you don't have to go and buy a gym membership. You don't have to buy a bunch of expensive exercise equipment.
Basically all you need to do is choose an activity that you like to do. You don't even have to start off doing 30 minutes a day. You can try to do in intervals where may be you do 10 minutes at one time.
Later on in the day you can squeeze in 10 more minutes and get your 30 minutes that way. But the most important thing is that you are choosing something that's easy for you to do and that you are going to be successful at.
May be if you get movies by mail, you can have one of them be an exercise DVD.
