One of the exercises that keeps coming up in many of our videos is learning how to squat or squatting. So today I want to show Sarah a simple technique that anyone can use to learn the squat with proper form. So I am going to have you turn right to this side and I want you to do is push the medicine ball out as sit backwards. So keep it in chest and then sit backwards with your hips and come right back and start bringing it into your chest.
So what this does is it counter balances you. If you push an object or a weight away from your body it's going to force your hips to sit backwards and the major mistake people make is letting their knees come over their toes and let their heels come off the ground. I want Sarah's toes to be light and all the way to be back on her heels and her hips to sit backwards with her chest staying up nice and high. So she is looking straight ahead, pushing the ball out straight and if you practice this one little simple technique for may be two-three times to get your form down path and then go right into any squatting exercise, and that's it.
