Gridlines in Microsoft Word could be very helpful when you’re arranging objects. So first of all in order to display the gridlines you need to select the one or more of the objects that you’d like to use as gridlines to align with. So we want to go ahead and click one of these pictures and then click on the Format tab and then you arrange section, we want to click on the Align button and then choose if you gridline and this will display your grid lines, you can now use those to align objects however you want. When you’re ready to hide your gridlines go to the align button again still on the format tab and click on view gridlines and this will turnoff this option. So that’s how you could show or hide gridlines in Microsoft Word 2007.
