You may notice that while you’re moving around objects in your Flash document, they will snap or they will kind of cling to certain either guides that you have or if you’re using a grid, they’ll go ahead and you can’t have exact placement. They’ll go ahead and snap.
Well, you can go ahead and you can set those snapping options really easily. Right click on a blank area of your screen, go to snapping and then go to edit snapping. So from here, you can go ahead and you can setup when you want those objects to snap. Do you want them to snap a line, snap to the grid, snap to the guides, snap to pixels, or snap to objects? If you would like to get rid of all of the snapping so you can do exact placement, make sure that you have checkmarks not on any of the boxes, click OK and now you could go ahead and you can move your objects to get exact placement.
