Even if you’re absolutely convinced, there’s a new program, it’s a well tested and completely safe. It’s always a good idea to manually create a system restore point first. This way, if you run into any unforeseen problems, uninstalled the program, add the new system restore to remove any left over program files in registry entries.
To manually create a restore point, open the start menu and choose all programs, accessories, system tools and system restore. On the system restore screen, choose create a restore point and click next. Type in the descriptive name and select to create.
