Hi friends I am Genie Meye and I am here to show you how to dry your style. What do you do when the day changes from blissful blue to really down pour while you are out on your lunch break? Okay calm down, take a deep breath. You can get back to the office and repair the damage without getting too rained out by following a few easy steps. I swear.
First, if your hair is long and wet, the easiest thing really to do is to put it into a bun, yeah. Although it may be a little grandmaish, this is a great way. Keep your wet hair off of your clothes so you can dry it under the hand dryer in the work restroom when nobody is looking at you.
Now, if you had a real down pour, you also need to touch up your face without ruining your makeup. So blot up any excess water with toilet seat covers, stop it! Stop right there, because I am telling you, these are the same things that you buy at the department store for blot papers. They work amazingly well in rain and even humidity without removing your makeup.
Then, use face powder instead of foundation to keep you drier, and honestly I would apply it with the fingertips just to keep it really minimal. Do not apply makeup around your hairline because if your hair gets wet again, the makeup will start to run.
Skip the liner altogether, roll on some waterproof mascara, apply a cream based blush with a brush and hello! You are so ready to rock. There is nothing hotter than pulling off some serious style after stepping right out of the monsoon. Take it from me.
