Welcome to this video tutorial. Today I’m just going to show you how you can render your YouTube videos if you make any in High Definition quality with using Camtasia Studio and QuickTime. In many videos I’ve already been like this and I’ve seen a lot of those videos and I actually learned this like the one and a half years ago by this guy name Ben or Bob Miller so but never thought about making a video about it.
First you actually need Camtasia Studio and I’ll—the link into description, you can download Camtasia Studio 6 or you can try to find Camtasia Studio 5. Yes go on and click and download now. So 37.33 megabyte file. Click Save file on or your Desktop or wherever and then just run Install and click Next and the actual to download QuickTime which is basically the same thing just a little bit different. Actually let me just go back here.
So they try to get you to download iTunes with this. So watch this out and a lot of installers do the same thing like CCleaner right here try to get you to download Yahoo Toolbar. But I just want to click the radio selection for Windows XP or Vista so you can choose anyone and the Mac it already comes with it I believed. And then you go uncheck this unless you want to Sign up for Free Weekly New Music Tuesday subscription and updates. You don’t have to input your email address so they don’t spam you, just click Free Download Now, load up the page and you can save the file with like the same thing on Camtasia Studio.
Now one tip and quick tip here though, do not run the installer at the same time. It will bug down your system and there’s a high chance of both of them not installing correctly. Anyway after—if you already have it, made it new video or something and I actually using Camtasia Studio 5 or do you have Camtasia Studio 6, I just like five better. And after you have the video, just want to like dragging into the storyboard. Anyway, first of all import your media or what are we going to get—I have an HD test here ready. Drag it in and I actually have a preset with probably don’t and just choose whatever. After you’ve made all of the changes in editing, if you want a tutorial on how to use this a little then just comment or pm me. Then just want to click Produce Video as. Some people leave Batch production. You can also use that. Let’s going to click Produce Video As, you just want to click the first one not cause Production Presets and click Manage, New and then you can make a New Preset. So every time you make a video, you have an option of HD and in Camtasia Studio 6.0 I think they already have HD presets so but anyway you can use type in YouTube HD or something. Just HD and then you want to click the MOV Quick Time movie file, that is why you’re downloading Quick Time player and yeah you can name it whatever you want just make sure its HD because now you’ll have it safe all of our options. I want to click Quick Time options, go to settings, you want to compression type to be H.264. Frame rate, you can do current or actually not 29.97 depending on your region. The thing different in the United Kingdom or something it has to be 30. Key frame, so you can actually put automatic. You can put all or you can put every 30 frames if you want. In fact I’m going to put that it right now. Before the compressor, the quality you want it to be the best quality you can be. Most people use Faster encode, single fast because its faster encoding or just going to be the best quality but the quality still good if you put Faster encode. Set here, OK.
Now for sound, here’s going to click settings again. Make sure its MPEG-4 Audio. Make sure its 48 kHz. So 48.000, make sure its 16 bit and Stereo. Even if you record it in mono so the best options possible, okay. Click Next, custom size you want this to be HD which is 1280x720 and you can choose any background color but black is proficient. Click Next, you can include a water mark and just click options and then click here, the browse and upload it. They’re not uploaded if you see this one. You can change the position and the opacity or basically how much it fades and how dark it is. I’m not really going to do anything here. You can add a—yeah just click Finish and yeah there you go, you made that Preset, close and then you can actually click this little arrow and actually find that Preset that you made, HD. And then just click Next and then you’re already down to the—with your page. So every time we want to make an HD video you can just do that thus I’ll just save it to my Desktop because it is easier to access. I initially show the production settings, click Next and Finish. It will render it and encode it. Just going to pause this video already that time. Its finish, it turns out to be 2.23 Megabytes.
So yeah, it takes of quite a while to render if an actual video, so be warn about that. If you don’t have much time do not render it in HD because it’s really high quality that’s why it take so long and I’ll just click finish and I’ll just see here, let’s test this file just about here right click, open. I’m just going to test out your video and QuickTime player is 1280x720 and my screen isn’t that big. So if you want to just preview it, you can just click View and click Fit to screen and making play it.
So that was it for this tutorial. Yeah so basically it is. So please rate this video, five stars if you like it, comment, good feedback and constructive criticism, and share this video with your friends who you would know that they would also like the subject and topic that we discussed and please subscribe. It’s just the gold/yellow/orange button onto the right. See you guys later, thanks for watching and peace out.
