Simple Kids Crafts presents: How to Recycle Materials for Your child’s Craft Box

So today we outside and what seems to be a very rainy day to show you how to make
your very own Craft Materials Recycled Box. Here we go here’s the box and this is a box
from the Post Office that I recycled myself. And these are the materials that we usually
put in our box. Basically we have here the plastic bottle of Coca-cola or anything that
you’d like. You can make different things with this. And we also have a smaller version
of this. Spring Poland — Poland Spring Water bottle that we can use for different crafts
as well as the cups. The cups we can use for different games like ticktacktoe. You can
even paint the cups, and make a lot of fun crafts with this.

We also have seeds that we had from our pumpkins. We had a lot of pumpkins and I was
going to pick out these seeds. I use this for smaller crafts like making flowers and so on
and so forth. I will use that to make different kinds of project as well as bracelets and so
on. We also have the paper — the paper bags that we get from the market. I actually
saved those and I use it for different things like making puppets, making little fish et
cetera, so I have those as well. Sometimes I use also the newspaper that we collect. We
have your basic carton of eggs and I like different shapes and different materials that’s
why I have this carton of egg. But I prefer this one which is made out of Styrofoam. I
think this is a little bit over better medium to work with. And you can make different
things with it.

Now, I have two different sizes here to show you what is the difference between the two
of them. This is a medium carton while this that is here is a little bit larger. This is large
eggs and you could see the texture is different as well as its shape. I prefer the larger one
because you can make flowers with these and they come out really nice. While if you use
the other one, it’s that even more difficult to work with so I will make animal shapes.
You can see what the labels say in each one of them. One is large one is extra large.

So here we have egg shells and I even collect the egg shells. I empty all the contents as
you can see through the bottom and then I use the egg shells to make faces or flowers or
even eyeballs if you would need that. So here we have all the egg shells that I have
collected and I use this up throughout there and this is how the actual box looks like
when it’s full. I use those in different type of crafts as well.

Here we have paper plates and basically these are paper plates that are not too used. The
paper plates had — you put crackers or cheese or whatever and you can use this in
different projects as well. And then your basic jar. This is a jelly jar which I cleaned up
and I’m going to use and decorate all over as well. And here we have your basic box. We
can have boxes of different shapes and sizes and they are so useful for different projects
involving kid’s crafts.

Now we have also the empty cans or empty boxes of juice which I’ll use for projects for
articulation and so on and so forth. I’ll actually show you those in upcoming programs as
well. Now, I have also the paper towel roll as well as the toilet paper roll and these are
very useful for different projects as binoculars and so on. And your average variety
garden rock which I also saved if I want to make a paper weight or if I want to make a
little fish and so on and so forth. So this is the box that my son has collected in the past
two weeks. We actually empty out regularly and use it for different projects and I’m sure
that you have a little fun making up your own box when using these everyday materials
that you find at home or things that are used or at the same time showing your child how
to recycle. And this is a lot of fun to put together but actually to use in the end. I hope
