How to Put On Vampire Make Up
Hi I’m Mindy Shear. And today, I’m going to show you on WatchMojo how to create the sexiest vampire look for Halloween. I’m going to take you to the process step by step so you could do this all yourself.
So step one. To create a hot vampire look is basically to start with the lightest foundation that will suit your skin. You want to put a little bit more than normal because it shouldn’t be too cakey but you should look feisty. When you’re doing a paler face, you need to bring it down into the neck area as well as the chest even the shoulders if you’re going strapless. I’m going to apply lashes that have a little bit of stones inside that will be very long. You take a little bit of the glue and you apply to the edge of the lash. You wait until it’s a little bit tacky and you gently apply it to the very edge of your lash line and then we’re going to start with the lips.
The Vampires have very dark dramatic almost a bloody lips so we want to go with the dark pencil. This is called cabernet and you want to emphasize the lipline and extend a little bit more outwards. As per the lipstick, I like to start with a very dark deep true red lipstick and this is to be applied to the lips with the lip brush. So, the next step to really make that vampire look, you take a very dark lip gloss. It’s very vampi, almost black and appropriate name called beaten. And we want the effect of the color so the red shows through a little bit on the inside and it’s very, very dark on the outside. With the blush I’m going to do just to highlight the cheekbones a fairly little bit but in a strong way and you also want a bit of a flash look like you just took a bite out of somebody and you’re healthy from the blood that you just suck.
Before you even start with the eyes, I like to focus on the eyebrows. That’s going to frame the face and give it also that harsh edgy look that we’re going for. So, it’s a very sharp angular brush. I like to go a little bit darker than with the eyebrows already are and I want to create that shape which extends a little bit out on the natural brow. Once the brows are done, we’re going to the next step which is the shadows. This is a loose powder so you have to be very careful because it can fall onto the face. You dub the excess and you cover the entire eye area. You go out to where the eyebrow ends and you could very gently and I mean very gently take away the excess powder. Then I’m going to my next color which is minty chocolate brown and I go into the crease area on the lower lid and you go to your black is black and just goes really into the corner and into the crease. Then of course for fun and for drama, I’m adding blue and I’m adding a dub right down the middle of the eyelid.
And to really make the eyes pop out and to scream, “I want you”, black eyeliner on the bottom in a very, very strong way. Take a Q-tip, cramp the areas a little bit and blend it at the same time. To really create that pop out eye look and that very dramatic effect, liquid liner is always very dramatic and very beautiful and we extend it all the way out. As a final step, the mascara and that is just going to bring out the eyes and make the eyelashes just flatter away. So, this is a finish look of the vampire which is very glam, very sexy. But if you want to gore it up a little bit, take a bit of red lipstick and you want to look like you just took a bite out of somebody. And if you smile, you put enough gloss and lipstick on. You’re going to have a bit of blood on the teeth. So, to complete the look of this beautiful and sexy vampire, we’re going to just create a volume and just make it all messy and go out in your glam.
