And you know what the clutter of long strings of characters but it also makes it hard to know what you're clicking on and sometimes it’s nice to know what website you're being directed to before you click on it. Can you have it both ways? Why, yes you can. Thanks to LongURL.org you can install this tool as either a Greasemonkey script or a separate Firefox extension and that’s pretty simple. Just hover over any shortened URL and it will expand so you can see where it leads. So now you can browse safely without fear of getting recoiled or directed to a phishing site.
