How to Play happy Birthday on Violin
Hello, welcome to violintutorpro.com. And today, I'm going to teach you how to play Happy Birthday on the violin. I have a board here. This song is going to be F# and C natural which means your second finger on the D string will be high. And your second finger on the A string will be low. So the only A2’s, this is a natural, it is right here. Well in that, the D2’s will be high.
So right here, we start of with 2D 8th notes that’s going to be—and then D1, quarter note. D3 get in D2, we got to hold it for two beats and then two eight notes, A1, open D, open A, D3 for two beats, one two and an open D for 8th notes and then A3, quarter note A1, D3,D2, this is going to be a F# right next to that 3, D1 space bar. Those are all quarter notes and then we’re going to have that C natural low to right next to the one eight notes and then an A1, D3, D4 or A0 and D3 you’re going through this. The size in 3/4 times means it has three beats per measure and the first two notes are pick-up notes.
Excellent! Let’s do it top to bottom. This is for you.
