Next we want to move to a series of drills and we like to take our post players through which helps them to develop offensive moves and offensive skills. The first one is a very universal drill. It is very common in basketball. This is Miken Drill. George Miken for the Minneapolis Lakers when they won world championships made this drill famous. Always teach to your players the correct foot work and repeat it to them as they first start to do the drill until they learn to do it on their own. Chad will demonstrate the Miken Drill force so we will go slowly at first, it is right foot left hand. Go ahead. Left foot, right hand. Right foot, left hand. Left foot, right hand. Right foot, left hand. Left foot, right hand. Now he will do it on his own. He will pick up the pace a little bit. He is learning to go up quickly. He is learning to use both hands.
