Fine Living Networks, Smart Tips for planting flowers.
Location, Location, Location…that’s the primary thing to remember when you are planning a new flower garden.
Here are some tips to help your garden flourish for years. Pick a spot where your plants will soak up at least four hours of partial or direct sunlight. Plants like water, but not too much of it, so don’t plant your garden in a low lying area.
Starts with your garden with fully grown potted plants from your store. If it’s full of flowers that means it is healthy. Dig a hole a little larger than the pot. Carefully, pull away the roots from the soil, this will help encourage to growing all directions. Once the plants are on the ground, you can cut a top of the flowers out, and place them in a vase in your home to help freshen it up. This will also encourage the buds to grow more quickly. If you choose the right spot for your garden, you will soon have a free flower shop, right in your own backyard.
