How to Pimp Vista Windows

Hey, guys what’s up? David here iPod Touch 2GGeec and as you can probably tell about the title of this video I will be showing you a Windows tip. Now the reason why I started or why I decided to start this Windows tips because I felt it would help promote my channel a lot better and also I’ve been getting a lot of questions on this.

So this video will be to show you how you can properly install third party themes onto your Windows Vista machine. Now it’s really simple and I will be giving you the link right for the video description of the theme I’m currently using and what that theme does is it just make it’s very simple theme that’s why I like it. It makes me star or silvering gray. Nothing else to it, it’s all it really does.

So the first thing you’re going to want to do is download Vista Glazz. All right guys, you’re going to click on this link. It will be also be on the video description to the right. You’re going to click on one of these mirrors then you’re going to save the file and you’re just going to set it up like you would any normal file.

So then you should get this shortcut on your desktop called Vista Glazz. You’re going to open it and it’s like allow the user account control window with the pops up and then you should have this Window. Now this is Vista Glazz, this is what allows you to install the third party themes. It’s very simple. All you got to do is click on this little computer icon and at first for you guys this little bad for the checkmark it will be a Silver for you guys but you’ve got to click on it and right here you’re going to slot the patch files and offer me it says unpatch that’s only because my system files have already been patched and you need to patch some of the system files in order to install the third party themes.

So that’s what you’re going to do, you’re going to select that band and then you’re going to reboot your PC and then one of the other feature of Vista Glazz is this little color palette. You can go ahead and click that and then slot the bottom right over here and that will make it fill all of your Windows. It will be transparent when they’re maximized.

So that’s a really great feature I have that selected and once you do that you can go ahead and install your third party themes. So I will give you a link to this site. It’s called DeviantArt.com. It’s a great, great website. I will give you the link so this part of DeviantArt so you won’t have to do any browsing. It’s a fun with themes.

So first off, all you got to do is select one of the themes. So I’m just going to select this theme Next Level and then it will give you a preview. You can select it to view a larger preview or if you just want to download it you can select download right here below. They have some information on the theme as well as comments. So to download it you’re going to select download and you’re going to save the files, save it to your desktop and it will probably be either a .zipped file or a .rar file so you might need WinRAR or 7zip to open them.

So here, I’ve downloaded one called Luna XP. It’s a theme for Windows Vista to make it look like XP and what you’re going to do is right click on it, select extract all and you’re going to extract it to your desktop.

Now here, there might be a couple of folders but you’re just going to browse them until you see one with a file that is called Windows Visual Style file. What you’re going to do is take the folder that is in and just drag it out through your desktop. You can now go ahead and delete the other folders you have if you want of course and then what you’re going to do is open up your Start Menu, go to computer, C drive Windows, scroll down to resources and themes. Now here is where you drag in your theme, so you’re just going to drag it straight into there and select continue and then it will drag it straight in.

Now you’re going to right click on your desktop, select to personalize Windows color and appearance, select open classic appearance properties for more color options and that will bring you to this one. Now here you will have your theme. So you’re just going to select the theme. As you can see that’s what it will look like so we’re going to click apply and now as you can see it, it’s not the best theme but this is a theme and that’s always to you just going to click okay and then we will save it. If you don’t want this theme anymore, just select one of the other themes. Select apply, okay go back into your themes folder and just delete it right from there. It’s really simple to do guys, really easy having recommended it if you want to personalize your PC and kind of make —
