Female: Diamonds are a girls best friend but shoes certainly make for a close second and now that you got the rock on your finger it’s time to hit the ground running in search of the perfect pair of bridal shoes.
Dawn: Bridal shoes are a big to do for the bridesmaids of today.
Female: And that’s because what’s in when it comes to that walk down the isle is a shoe that reflects your style.
Adam: You can get specific trims and crystals and put on to your shoes, different heel heights, colors. I mean people are going away from the conventional white and ivory and going for something a bit more extravagant.
Sharia: For our more relaxed brides who love lip gloss and who love kind of a more casual affair I would consider definitely continuing that throughout your wedding because your wedding is about you and who you are and there’s no need to change who you are for that day.
Female: And for brides that are all about vintage and glam the gorgeous shoes that grace the red carpet soles of Hollywood stars in the 1940s and 50s are coming back in vogue with breathtaking bridal styles.
Sharia: Oh definitely Hollywood glamour is a really, really big thing at the moment. Big focus on trims and detailing on the shoes as well, it’s a combination of everything where you can go for feathers, vintage brooches and trims, short kitten heels.
Female: Often your gown will be covering your shoes but with the designers sending gowns down the runways with shorter and shorter hymn lines brides are buying shoes with higher and more embellished heels.
Adam: if you go short dressed the higher the better, the more detailing the better is platforms, lots of swarvski crystals, sandals or something like that.
Female: Short dress or not be sure to bring your shoes to your gown fittings but the hymn of your gown isn’t the only consideration when it comes to heel height of your oh so fabulous footwear for bridal shoes comfort is key
Dawn: If you’re not wearing heels don’t make your wedding day the first day you’re going to attempt to wear heels.
Sharia: You need to dress for comfort. If you can’t dance and you wear shoes you have wasted every penny.
Female: Or wear a pair of dynamite heels for your ceremony and pictures and then literally kick off your shoes and slip into a lower heel or slipper to dance the night away.
Sharia: I think it’s even more fun to change shoes just as brides before we change dresses. Definitely make a statement with your shoes and let your guess know that either there’s time to be formal and elegant and it’s time to party and make that nice transition.
Female: So when it comes down to finding those wedding shoes you can’t imagine marrying your man without make sure they’re comfortable, make sure they coordinate with your gown length and most importantly make sure they unmistakably reflect you.
Sharia: Make your shoe fabulous, make it about you and make it something that you will definitely remember.
