Let’s talk a little bit about different flat irons and irons that you use in styling hair. When I first started, we only had the choices of either the curling iron, regular curling iron, plug-ins and we had the choice of marcel irons and even though they’re wonderful and I still use them, I do like the choice of using now the ceramic flat irons.
Now, I will say that the ceramic flat irons leave a nice shine to the hair and you can do so many things with them. You just don’t have to like flatten the hair with the flat irons, you can curl hair now with these flat irons and they come in different sizes. We have these big irons here to flatten out like really long thick hair and you have the medium length which is for medium length hair, even short hair. You can kind of bump it and make it look a little fuller and you have the real short ones that you can use on the sides of the hair when the hair is really, really short. It trains the hair really wonderfully.
Also, another thing I like about the flat iron is that you have these temperature gauges. Some of them don’t but I would say once I use, the FHI irons, do have a temperature gauge and it reaches all the way to 450. I only use it all the time around 450 but they’re very easy to use and it’s really, really nice on the hair.
Now, besides these irons right here, you have the curling irons as I was saying before and they also come ceramic. They can come in bigger barrels also, smaller and bigger ones. And again, you can always use your Marcel irons or curling irons. It is fine to do that. Just make sure you use a lot of good protectors for the hair. Affirm sells wonderful stuff to protect the hair if you use the Marcel irons. That’s just a little bit about curling irons and flat irons.
