How to Paste Text Without Formatting - Windows

By default, windows copies text formatting along very time you’re selecting copy from say a website. I often find myself pasting to notepad and recopying to get rid of the formatting. Is there a windows shortcut to allow you to just paste pure text without any formatting? Please help.

Well, Miguel, it’s funny you should use that phrase because the answer your problem is a little piece of freeware called pure text. Located at stevemiller.net/puretext, it runs from your system tray and allows you to paste formatting free texts with a certain hot key or windows plus V by default. Hope this helps you out, Miguel looks like you didn’t close that notepad window and saved it for a more important occasion.
