Heidi: Called my insurance and found out there were two facilities that I could go to, one of what had an out patient program and in which I could see a psychiatrist with in 24 hours. And normally the wait time is 16 weeks or longer. So I knew that's what I wanted to do. I called my OB back. We got some medication for the weekends, so that I can sleep till the weekend and my husband was home with us, with the children.

So that I too just kind of -- symptoms and panic attacks at sleep. And not worry about the kids for the weekend. My evaluation ended on the Tuesday, ended up on the Tuesday, because of the Labour Day weekend. And my way of found out that I could have just walked in to the facility at any time, which I should have done during the weekend, when I was having a really bad time, but I did go to a facility for evaluation for their date treatment program and I decided out that in take that I wanted to be voluntarily hospitalized, because I thought like I couldn't go home parent my children.

So, I had fortunately very good insurance coverage at a 100%. so I voluntarily hospitalized myself for five days and saw a psychiatrist within 24 hours, who put me on the right medication and I have been working with the psychiatrist ever since.

And I also knew the importance of having a therapist being own myself. so l lined out of quickly and after that, I did do the day treatment program for about three weeks and learned about depression and some coping skills, things that I knew in my practice, but that I was been clouded in my judgment and my personal life. So it was the good experience to be in that group.

It was enquired for a postpartum and all of that was the depression group and mainly if I call her diagnosis, but information was helpful nonetheless. and so after I did that, in the mean time I had got full time sitter from my son, and my husband was taking them to the a sitter before he went to work and picking them up them up after work. So, I wasn't having very much contact with the baby, just in the evening is the little bit here and there when I thought comfortable. But my husband was mainly doing the care Kevin and my daughter was in school.

So he didn't have to worry about that and my elder son was in school as well. and so my days at the day program and then after that I still kept my sitter in place and just did a lot of self care and trying to figure out how should I make it through and redeem from the medication.

Trying to try a couple of different combinations to get the right amount and the right dosages and were able to finally buying that and start stabilizing. I was able to scale back the hours that my son was at the sitter and start picking him up myself or taking him in myself, eventually to the point where now, I have him three days of week, full time, except from when I am at work. I work part time three days a week as well.

So, he is at the sitter for those days. But I still see my psychiatrist and where I just had my year mark anniversary and I went in to the hospital and it's been a long journey, but it's been well worth it. I have able to receive some training and feel that postpartum depression, anxiety and help other mothers who are suffering and to be able to be aware of it and identify it and not be embarrassed or ashamed and to know that is not a problem and it's treatable. and so, I am still about 95% back to my regular self, and hopefully in the next couple of months, I will be back to 100%, and will be done with this part of my journey.
