If you’re working with a large excel work book, one that has multiple worksheets you’re going to find that keeping those worksheets organized is really going to be the key to being successful and being quick in any work that you’re doing. If you look at the bottom left hand side of the screen, you’ll see that you have your different sheet tabs. When you open up in excel work book by default, you’re going to have three worksheets. And here, you can see those by your three sheet tabs. Click on this sheet tabs and they’re going to bring up each worksheet.
A great way to organize your worksheet is to rename them. If you right click on your sheet tab, and then go to rename it will highlight and with your keyboard, you can simply type and then press the enter key in your keyboard and it will insert the name. You can do that for all of your sheets if you want.
If you’re going toad another sheet, you can click on the insert worksheet button and it will add another sheet. If you’d like to delete a sheet, right click on top of the sheet tab and go to delete. You also have the option of moving or copying your worksheet, viewing the code you can set the sheet to be protected. So maybe when you’re organizing you won’t accidentally delete your worksheet. You can also change the tab color, and that’s a quick way to get your sheet tab different color so it’s more easily recognizable. You can also hide worksheets, you can unhide them and you can also select all the sheets to make changes to them at the same time.
