Hi! I am Kim Oser, a Certified Professional Organizer and the owner of Put It Away! Professional Organizing.
Today we are talking about organizing your Home-Office. We have gone through setting up your Home-Office, creating an effective Inbox system as well as ways to file all your paperwork. So now we are going to talk about setting up an organized desk drawer.
Most homes have a desk drawer that looks something similar to this. It's affectionately referred too often as the junk drawer. By setting up an organized desk drawer, you will see by using dividers that you can easily see everything that's in there, as well as easily retrieve items when you need them.
You also have a less tendency to overbuy because you can see exactly what it is that you have. By setting up your desk drawer like this, you will see that you can easily put things away as well as retrieve them when you are looking for them.
Now that we have got our desk drawer set up and we have got all the supplies we need at hand, let's discuss setting up a supply shelf for the overflow of supplies as well as those larger items.
