Thomas Christakos: Hi This is Thomas Christakos From German Hawthorne’s, I am here on Every Day Dish I am going to make a Tofu Scrambles, Which is one of the dishes we have in Jam and we have the ingredients right here, we have Tofu, Red onions, spinach, and mushrooms.
First which you are going to do, you are going to add red onions make sure your pan is nice and hot, so that way it cooks the, onions all the way through, add your salt, and your pepper, add your mushrooms any mushrooms will do, you want get the fancy you Can have lots of mushroom, cilantro or whatever you want to use. Make sure those get coated with oil and they cook nice and evenly.
Add your spinach, make sure those boiled in with all the ingredients, turn up the heat if you need to add some more pepper, add your Tofu and you are going to want crumble add up, so it looks like a scramble, so just take it and just get all the chunks out of there, so it cooks more evenly you want a make sure when you are cooking a Tofu and you want to make it, a texture that you want whether you like the Tofu soft or brown or brown which ever way you want it.
At this point what to you want to do is make sure the Tofu cooks, make sure its get its nice brown even coating around this, so its gives a wet texture. Add as a little bit of nice flavor to it. And the same things in the hash browns make sure it’s nice and brown. Just like that, which kind of consistency we want of the cook Tofu, which is right about here, they have nice and brown, everything looks really crisp and nice. You want to add your seasoning, which is basil, oregano and cumin, and once you add all that you want to mix it all around make sure its even seasoning around all of the Tofu, all of your scramble like that. That’s got pretty good consistency right there. And that would be, the Vegan scramble. Just Plate that up and some spinach put down below some fresh spinach as a little bit more texture it to your scramble. Then take your hash browns and put there right there, and you got your Vegan Tofu Scrambled Breakfast. Thank you.
